The Crimson
Crones had another wonderful Crafty Afternoon in Queen
Jill's clubhouse. But Queen Jill had a huge
senior moment and forgot to take pictures.
Most
everyone had a craft to work on, while a few looked on and admired.
Chari Spring made fabulous artificial rose pins for
everyone. Thank you, Chari. You're a sweetie.
We
talked, laughed, and ate chocolate cake. Toward the end there
were about eight of us left. We shared stories about
ourselves, and one in particular I must repeat:
Sandy
Black was born at Emanual Hospital. Her future husband, Ed, was
born two days later, and they were in the nursery together.
(Is this how the expression "Robbing the cradle" came
about?) Years later, Ed was in Emanual Hospital as a patient,
and Sandy was his nurse. And the rest, as they say, is
history.
