Queen
Norma Curtis and her Ruby Ragazzas of Hood River outdid
themselves, putting on a Fabulous Fifties Bunko Party. There
were approximately 50 gals from various chapters.
The
decorations were wonderful and took us all back to those good old
days. They served cheeseburgers, fries, milk shakes, salad bar, and
an ice cream sundae for dessert. Everyone brought a gift to
exchange, and there were also lots of door prizes. All
the queens who attended who given gorgeous wrist corsages, each one
consisting of one rose. What a lovely surprise.
It was fun
listening to the music of the Fifties and remembering what once was.
There were 14 tables of bunko players, and it was a wonderful opportunity
to see old friends and meet new ones.
Thank you
again, Ruby Ragazzas, for thoroughly entertaining us. It was
obvious that a great deal of time and energy went into decorating and
planning this fun event. I wish I had taken more pictures. If
anyone wants to email me their digital photos, I will be happy to add them
to this site.
