Linda Brown
planned a wonderful extra event for us. On Saturday, June 30, we
carpooled to Myrtles Tea Parlour in Ridgefield, WA.
Unfortunately, no one brought a camera. There was a
"cruise-in" taking place, and we got to admire a myriad of old
cars. There was also a pet parade that day, but we had just missed
it.
The high
tea at Myrtles was fabulous. Fabulous food, fabulous
service. This has definitely become one of our favorite tea
rooms. There is also a fabulous gift shop, and many of us purchased
fresh loose-leaf tea, teapots, teacups, and other fun things. Queen
Jill purchased a tea pot with two spouts and two matching
teacups. You can make two different teas, and pour each one
separately. Ah ha, I'll take a picture of it at home, and
then we'll have at least one picture after all!
