Another
wonderful Valentine’s Tea was presented by Princess Jill Schaffer
and her Prince Tom in their lovely Victorian home.
There were
Red Hat ladies from the Crimson Crones, plus ladies from Jill’s
other chapter “The Joy Belles of Tualatin” along with their Queen
Mum, Elaine Tinnin and Vice Queen Connie Fowler. The menu
consisted of Asparagus Roll Ups, Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Cucumber with
Dill Cream Cheese, Fresh Tomato Avocado, and Bacon Sandwiches, Coconut
Madeline’s, Triple Lemon Pound Cake, Key Lime, with French Black and
White Cake. Teas served were Ginger Peach and English
Breakfast.
We played a
game with various questions related to Valentine’s Day and also had lots
of drawings for door prizes.
Their home
was decorated with red hearts, calendars, flowers and burning candles, and
everyone was treated to a bag of special treats.
