Seventeen
lovely Crimson Crones had a wonderful lunch at Benihana's.
We had two personal chefs who cooked our meals right at the table.
We enjoyed such things as chicken, scallops, shrimp, and rice. One
chef shaped the rice into a heart and then made it look like it was
beating.
They were
quite entertaining, flipping food in the air and making jokes. One
chef asked if we wanted an egg roll with lunch. We answered in the
affirmative, and he took an egg and placed it at the top of a slanted
utensil. He said, "Here's your egg roll," as he let it
roll down onto the table. You had to be there. It was very
funny.
The
Japanese servers sang Happy Birthday to our two birthday gals, Lise
Thom and Anne North, as we sang along and played our
kazoos. Then they sang in Japanese. It was such fun. At
least half of the gals had never been to Benihana's before and
enjoyed the unusual experience. It was fun to do something a little
different.
