We were
joined by 5 gals from the Ruby Begonias, and many of the brave
ladies in both our chapters wore prize-winning costumes. Best
costume went to Evy Cook, Scariest costume went to Nancy Crowe,
and most humorous went to Ida Partlow.
Everyone loved my googly glasses, so most of us had our pictures taken
wearing them. We played some games, told embarrassing stories from
our past, and read Halloween trivia.
Though
Marilyn Harris couldn’t attend, she loaned us her ghost tree
which is always a hit on Halloween. I forgot to take its picture at the
lunch, so I took the photo at home so you could all enjoy the memory of
such a unique tree. If you look closely, you can see what the ghosts
are made of. (Or maybe you shouldn’t look too closely...)
A fun time
was had by all.
